The 24-Hour Rule
Sleep on it.A sound decision will still be there.
- Feels like
- A day later
- It must be decided now
- Often looks very different
If a decision can survive waiting 24 hours, wait; urgency is usually a feeling, not a fact.

In Practice
A stock tip that feels like it "has to be decided right now" almost always still exists tomorrow; if it doesn't survive a day's wait, it likely wasn't a sound decision to begin with.
Generic Example
An online cart you're about to check out on impulse at midnight often looks very different, and gets deleted, by tomorrow morning.
Ask yourself
Does this decision actually get worse if I wait one day; or does it just feel that way right now?
