Satisfaction over Happiness

Happiness is emotional. Satisfaction comes from living according to priorities. Buying everything doesn't create satisfaction. Buying intentionally does.
In Practice
Buying a stock because the ticker is green feels happy for an afternoon. Buying it because it fits a plan you can defend a year later feels satisfying long after the market forgets that day.
Generic Example
A big spontaneous purchase feels great walking out of the store. A planned one you actually needed still feels right a month later.
