Delete your account
Applies to maetis.in and the Maetis app.
You can delete your Maetis account yourself, at any time. It takes effect straight away and can't be undone.
In the app
Open the Account tab, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account, and follow the steps.
If you can't sign in
Email hello@maetis.in from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Maetis account”. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your profile (name, age, profession, email), your progress, bookmarks, saved decisions, Lab answers, your TradeLab history, your notification tokens, and any pending sign-in codes.
What is kept
If you made a purchase, the payment record is kept in minimal form for as long as tax and accounting law requires: what was bought, the amount, the date, and the Razorpay reference, with no name or email attached. Because of that, a purchase can't be restored to a new account after deletion. Crash reports and analytics carry no name or email, so they are not linked to your account; they expire under each provider's own retention period.
